I miss New York City
I miss seeing the basketball court when coming out of 4th street station
I miss Riverside Park in summer rain
I miss the peaceful Fifth Avenue after 9pm
I miss Washington Square and friends and sharing of cigarettes
I miss my little corner at 83rd street and Columus Avenue
I miss the sunlights coming down when the snow is still on the ground
I miss Union Square and 14th street
I miss 181st street Washington Hights in the morning to take the A train to work
I miss seeing a New York movie and telling out places
I miss American black accent
I miss 34th street
I miss sqeezing in a friend's car and driving around lower east side
I miss 56st street and business lunch
I miss upper west side, my, upper west side, when I walk around my upper west side, seeing people with families in upper west side, dinnign in a friendly nice restaurant in upper west side, getting summer breeze in upper west side, cruising through street fairs in upper west side.
I miss New York City where I see myself.
